This industry was born in 1998, has grown during the time thanks to the constant commitment of its members: Salvatore Giuseppe Montalbano, his wife Montana Maria, their children Alexander, In 2009 the company realized an important new production factory in the district Castellazzo in Sambuca of Sicily (Agrigento), near the enchanting shores of Lago Arancio. Casa Montalbano è un’azienda siciliana a conduzione familiare che si occupa della trasformazione, conservazione e commercializzazione dei prodotti dell’agricoltura.
Fondata nel 1998, negli anni è cresciuta sempre più grazie all’impegno costante dei suoi soci: Giuseppe Salvatore Montalbano, della moglie Maria Montana, dei figli Alessandro, Laura e Sergio. Nel 2009 l’azienda realizza un nuovo ed importante stabilimento di produzione in contrada Castellazzo a Sambuca di Sicilia (Agrigento) , sulle sponde del bellissimo LAGO ARANCIO, a venti minuti d’auto da Selinunte e/o da Sciacca : un’evoluzione naturale per un’azienda che si è imposta di affrontare con successo le sfide del mercato globale.
La Valle del Belice, è situata nella parte occidentale della Sicilia e si estende dai monti Sicani fino ad affacciarsi sul mare d’Africa . Il fiume Bèlice l’ attraversa longitudinalmente e sfocia in mare presso SELINUNTE antica e potente città greca, oggi, sito archeologico d’importanza mondiale.
La Valle è stata abitata fin dal secondo millennio avanti Cristo dai popoli Elimi e Sicani, e ha sempre attratto per la sua bellezza e fertilità diversi popoli ( Fenici, Greci, Romani, Arabi, Normanni, Svevi ecc..) che ,qui, hanno intrecciato i loro destini e lasciato segni grandiosi di civiltà.
Una terra magica e solare dove l’ospitalità e l’accoglienza sono un mito, dove si possono ammirare bellezze naturali e storiche e dove anche i sapori sono unici e speciali, eredità di una forte tradizione culturale ed enogastronomica.
